Perla
Perla is a modular two piece or three piece sofa unit designed to flaunt the unique and iconic wood-bending techniques porada is famous for.
The brief was from the Porada 2026 International Design Award, in which the sofa placed in the top 50 of the student submissions category.
In a cradle of canaletta walnut wood, a plush and soft upholstery of cream bouclé fabric. The sofa is designed to place the human at the centre and top of its visual hierarchy, like a clam opening to reveal the pearl that rests within it.
