DESI
DESI is the product for making wishes, discovering answers, and interpreting meaning. Designed as a 'domestic oracle' for Alessi, the project calls upon a deep human desire to wish upon the stars. Using constellations to reply to its user's wishes, DESI provides context specific subjective feedback.
DESI's technology allows users to pick it up from its base, speak a wish into it and receive their feedback in the stars cape within the vessel.
With three different colours, the ceramic shell provides a finish of historical value which mixes with the modern AI-tailored responses to provide a modern ritual object.
